On the Contrary

back

…what if we can start reading ‘a subject’ without its prepositions, isn’t it like tracing a loose trail of a gloomy vision without knowing the source of the beginning? Our sequence is more like fractured performative dialogues between uneven space and time – in these short visual irregular fragments, we try to project the invisible non-binary self within its unborn darkest form. We attempt to manifest this series in the mode of mapping the plural visual monologues. ‘On the contrary ‘ is a nightmare where several of our unreasonable experiences start blending like fluid mercury. On the other hand, we try to narrate the trail beyond the rigidity of the alpha-normative gaze.

(If we are curious)

Being non-binary practitioners, we have an inclination for angular form than structured patterns. With this limited experience, we investigate this phenomenon within a few performative moves. Let us begin with the appearances – here we are intentionally replacing the persona with abstract energy – for us, they are representative of the Avant-garde contour. In terms of plot, we intentionally choose an augmented space for mapping, and share with our reader the idea of ‘other spaces’ from the queer hypothetical desirers. Here within this trail, nothing is fully explained except the curvature – it is the only autonomous character that is constantly evolving from the core of the culture of bending. Finally, the flow of the tension in between narratives. It is an attempt to understand the relationship between linear space and inanimate bodies through irregular height and distance.
