Aishwarya Iyer’s first book of poems, The Grasp of Things, was published in 2023 by Sublunary Editions (US and Canada) and Copper Coin. Her poems, fiction and critical prose have appeared in journals such as The Bombay Literary Magazine, Humanities Underground, Almost Island, ASAP Art, Muse India, Pratik, Berfrois, Firmament and Poetry at Sangam, among others. Her drawings have appeared in Guftugu, Ligeia, RIC Journal, Aainanagar, and on book covers. Some of her paintings were exhibited in a group exhibition in Delhi in 2023. She teaches at O.P. Jindal Global University in Sonipat, India.

Bhushan Korgaonkar, Multilingual Writer-Director and Translator. Bhushan writes fiction that primarily deals with sexuality and crime. His stories on the ‘Storytel’ app are widely popular, as are his periodic features in ‘Loksatta’ and ‘Mint Lounge,’ where he chronicles his relationship with unique cuisines. Recently, he translated a book from Marathi into English titled ‘Dalit Kitchens of Marathwada.’ Bhushan has been engaging with Lavani artists since 2002, which led him to write his award-winning book ‘Sangeet Bari’ (Rajhans Prakashan) in 2014. He has also written Lavani and other songs for music videos produced by ‘Agents of Ishq’ and ‘Humsafar Trust.’ Bhushan founded a theatre company, B Spot Productions, which creates performances that enable communities to share their stories, explore sensory pleasures, and initiate conversations on taboo topics.

Dr. Anagha Mandavkar is working as Assistant Professor in D. G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai. She has presented research papers in conferences and has written some journalistic articles for Marathi periodicals. She has written for and given voice to quite a few radio programmes and audio CDs. She was a member of the committee appointed by the Maharashtra Government for revision of the standardization of Marathi. She has a deep inclination towards the study of languages, performing arts and communication forms. She has received training in some art-forms, and has explored dance, drama, voice-culture, oratory skills and creative writing as an artist and resource person.

Gauri Talegaonkar is a Computer engineer by profession. She writes short articles and poems on social media platforms and for journals. Gauri works on translation projects, volunteers for NGOs as per their requirements. Performs light music as a well pursued hobby. She stongly believes that we all should have a life beyond work and our homes.

Harmeet Rattan was born into a family of artists, and sees art as an integral part of his upbringing. He holds a BFA in Sculpture from Punjab University’s Govt. College Of Art, Chandigarh, and an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Delhi’s College Of Art, Delhi. His presentations include a solo show titled “Permanent Visibility” held at the Prameya Art Foundation, Delhi, and several group shows titled, “Red to the Bone”, “Spice Box and Other Voids”, and “The light beyond the shadows.”

Hemant Divate is a Marathi poet, editor, publisher, translator and poetry activist. He is the author of eight poetry collections in Marathi. His most recent book in Marathi is Paranoia which was awarded by Govt. of Maharashtra’s Kavi Keshavsut Award. Divate’s poems have been translated into more than thirty international languages. In translation, he has a book in Spanish, Irish, Arabic, German, Estonian and Kannada apart from four in English. His poems have appeared in numerous anthologies in Marathi, English and Slovenian. He is the founder-editor of the Marathi little magazine Abhidha Nantar. Divate has participated in numerous international poetry and literature festivals across the globe. His publishing house, Paperwall Publishing has published (under its imprint Poetrywala) more than 150 poetry collections. Hemant is the founder and director of the Mumbai Poetry Festival. Hemant lives in Mumbai.

Indrajit Khambe is a documentary photographer based out of Sindhudurga, a beautiful district situated near the Goa-Maharashtra border. Since 2012, he has been following his passion for photography and his work is inspired by photographers like Josef Koudelka, Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, and India’s Raghu Rai. His photographic subjects are rooted in his home state and he has explored various subjects relevant to this region like traditional theatre form of Konkan region, monsoon farming around Sindhudurga, landscape of Hampi and the akharas of Kolhapur. His work has been exhibited in various Photography Festivals and published in various magazines and publications around the world. He was commissioned by brands like APPLE for the Holi project in India.

Kashyap Gajjar is a research scholar at the Department of English, Faculty of Arts, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat and works as an Assistant Professor at Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. Currently, he is working on city poems with special reference to Gujarati ghazals on Surat and Indian English poems on Mumbai. His areas of interest include Comparative Literature, Urban Studies, City poems, and Indian English Poetry.

Kaustav Chatterjee is an art practitioner, writer and researcher in the field of visual arts and cultural studies. He has completed an MFA by thesis from the University of Hyderabad, India. Currently, Kaustav is working as a researcher in Art-Art History-Archaeology at Pleach India Foundation Hyderabad. Kaustav’s writing and practice focuses on colonialism, kinship, mercantile crafts and transnational material histories of South Asia. Kaustav has been dealing with publication projects on Banarasi Textiles, Embroidery practices and Sugar crafts of India. Simultaneously, Kaustav has formed an independent research project that works with exhibition and exhibition making, writing and practice on intersectional approach to ‘care’, making and craft knowledge systems, in-between theory and practice, object studies, design studies, art history, anthropology and archaeology.

Manas Ray, a former Professor of Cultural Studies at the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta (CSSSC) writes in English and Bangla. He has published two autobiographical histories of post-partition Calcutta, “Growing Up Refugee” and “The Volatile 70s” (History Workshop Journal, 2002 & 2023). Merve Ünsal is an artist who lives and works in Istanbul. She thinks through the media of photography, video, radio, sound, performance, and site-specific installations. She has been supported by the Delfina Foundation (London), Praksis (Oslo), Fogo Island Arts, Art Metropole (Toronto), and University of Delaware (Lewes) to participate in artist residencies. Merve is the founding editor of the artist-centered platform m-est.org. She co-facilitated the Arter Research Programme, 2019-2021.

Palani Kumar is a documentary photographer from Madurai. He is interested in capturing the nuances of inequalities and marginalisation of a section of the population into pictures. He is a 2019 People’s Archives of Rural India Fellow and is associated with the PEP—Photographers for Environment and Peace—Collective.

Pallavi Singh graduated from Delhi University and holds a master’s degree in English literature from IGNOU. In 2019, she qualified UGC-NET in English. Currently, she is the lead content writer in Talent Connected Worldwide and owns a website called Literature and Criticism.

Pulkita Anand is an avid reader of poetry. At times, she loves to write, too. She has translated one short story collection, Tribal Tales from Jhabua. She is the author of two children’s e-books. Her recent eco-poetry collection is we were not born to be erased. Her creative works have been published in various journals: Setu Journal, Indian Periodical, Shortstory Kids,The Criterion, Twist and Twain, Tint Journal, and Lite Lit One among others.

Purvi Rajpuria is a writer and graphic designer, currently working out of Bangalore.

Rakhi Dalal writes from a small city in Haryana, India. Her work, including stories, essays, author interview and poems, have appeared in Kitaab, Scroll, Borderless Journal, nether Quarterly, Aainanagar, Hakara Journal, Bound, Parcham, Cafe Dissensus and Usawa Literary Review.

Ravikumar Kashi is a Bangalore-based visual artist, and an adjunct faculty at RV College of Architecture. He holds a BFA in Painting, an MFA in Printmaking, and an MA in English. He has also studied papermaking under J Parry in Glasgow, and Jang Yong Hoon and Seong Woo in South Korea. He has presented his work at several solo and group shows including, “Silent Echo”, “Remembered Abstraction”, and the India Art Fair.

Rituparna Mukherjee, a senior lecturer of English at Jogamaya Devi College, is a published poet, short fiction writer and a multilingual translator, translating Bengali and Hindi fiction and poetry into English. Her work has been published in many international journals of repute. She is the Chief editor at The Antonym.

Robert Fernandez is the author of Scarecrow (Wesleyan University Press, 2016), as well as Pink Reef (2013) and We Are Pharaoh (2011), both published by Canarium Books. He is also the cotranslator of a collection of Stéphane Mallarmé’s work, Azure: Poems and Selections from the “Livre” (Wesleyan University Press, 2015). Sakyajit Bhattacharya, a statistician by profession has written six novels among which Shesh Mrito Pakhi is his most acclaimed, two short story anthologies and a book of prose. Currently, he is working on a speculative fiction set around Kolkata.

Somdatta Guha Bakshi is presently employed at the Partition Museum, Delhi. She completed her master’s from the School of Arts and Aesthetics, JNU in 2023.

Uma Shirodkar is a multilingual literary translator based in Mumbai, India working primarily from Marathi into English. She was a 2022 South Asia Speaks Translation Fellow and her translations have appeared in Hakara Journal and Guernica Magazine. She writes about music, films and translation at the Instagram platform Lyrically Obscure.
