Tanvi Gurjar
Tanvi is a recent M.Sc graduate from the University of Bonn with keen interests at the intersection of literature, environmental studies, anthropology, and philosophy. My B.Sc in Zoology and M.Sc in Ecology sparked her interest in studying socio-ecological systems and ways for them to exist in a sustainable equilibrium. Her M.Sc work in mining sites instilled in her a profound drive to intimately understand the effect of developmental policies on minorities and guided my interest in writing the present article. Her future aspirations are to undertake a PhD to study mine restoration in India with community participation, prioritize sustainable community development, and safeguard environmental health.
