Prathamesh Dole
प्रथमेश डोळे हे बी. डी. सोमानी इंटरनॅशनल स्कूलमध्ये कार्यरत असलेले फ्रेंच विषयाचे शिक्षक आहेत. त्यांनी राज्यशास्त्रात आपले पदवी-शिक्षण पूर्ण केले, आणि नंतर मुंबई विद्यापीठातून एलएलबीची पदवी घेतली. साहित्य, भाषा आणि कविता ह्यांवरील प्रेमामुळे त्यांच्या आयुष्याला एक वेगळीच दिशा प्राप्त झाली. ते फ्रान्समधील कॅम्पेर येथील ब्रिझं महाविद्यालयात इंग्रजी भाषाविषयक सहाय्यक म्हणून कार्यरत होते, आणि २०२२मध्ये ते DALF C2 ही फ्रेंच भाषेतील निजभाषक-समतुल्य प्राविण्याची परीक्षाही उत्तीर्ण झाले. त्यांच्या लेखनाचा गाभा मुंबईच्या जीवनातील वेदनादायी कल्लोळ आणि श्वास गुदमरवणारा शहरी एकसुरीपणा ह्या सगळ्याच्या अनुवादामध्ये दडलेला आहे. त्यांच्या प्रेरणास्रोतांमध्ये नामदेव ढसाळ, दिलीप चित्रे, गॅब्रिएल गार्सिआ मार्क्वेझ, ज्ञानेश्वर, तुकाराम, तसेच नेग्रिट्यूड, दलित कविता ह्यांसारख्या विविध साहित्यिक चळवळींतील कवी, आणि प्रतिकाराची ज्योत जिवंत ठेवणारे असंख्य लोक ह्यांचा समावेश आहे.
Prathamesh Dole is an IBDP French teacher working at B. D. Somani International School. He completed his degree in Political Science and later finished his LLB from the University of Mumbai. However, his love for literature, language and poetry led him to carve a different path for him. He has worked as an English Language Assistant in Lycée Général Auguste Brizeux in Quemper, France and passed his native proficiency exam, DALF C2 in 2022. His oeuvre is primarily rooted in translations of the agonizing tumult of life in Mumbai and asphyxiating urban redundancy. His inspirations include poets like Namdeo Dhasal, Dilip Chitre, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Dnyaneshwar, Tukaram, poets of various literary movements such as Négritude, Dalit Poetry and countless other humans who kept the voice of resistance alive.
