Ketan Sathaye
केतन साठ्ये हे समकालीन भारतीय कलाकार असून, पॅरिस (फ्रान्स) आणि पुणे (भारत) ह्या दोन्ही ठिकाणी कार्यरत आहेत. त्यांनी २०१३ साली पुण्यातील अभिनव कला महाविद्यालयातून ललित कलेमध्ये पदविका प्राप्त केली . २०१८ साली त्यांनी अलायन्स फ्रांसेज़ द पुणे येथे फ्रेंच भाषेचे बी-१ स्तरापर्यंतचे शिक्षण पूर्ण करून पॅरिसमधील कला वर्तुळात संवाद साधण्यासाठी स्वतःची क्षमता वाढवली. त्यांनी २०२० साली कॅथलिक युनिव्हर्सिटी ऑफ पॅरिस येथे कला-इतिहासाचे अध्ययन केले, आणि २०२३मध्ये École des Beaux-Arts, Parisच्या Herodotus Programmeमध्ये सहभाग घेतला. सध्या ते पॅरिसमधील Atelier Contrepoint (17) येथे कार्यरत आहेत. २०२३ ते २०२५दरम्यान पॅरिसमधील चार गॅलरींमध्ये त्यांच्या कलाकृती प्रदर्शित झाल्या असून, त्यांच्या कलाकृतींमध्ये वैयक्तिक अनुभव, स्मृती आणि रूप ह्यांविषयीचे सूक्ष्म चिंतन-शोधन उमटते. भारतीय परंपरेवर आधारित रंगभान व जीवनाचे तत्त्वज्ञान ह्यांची सांगड घालताना त्यांचा दृष्टिकोन वैश्विक आणि प्रयोगशील राहिलेला आहे. त्यांना रॉयल अकेडमी ऑफ फाईन आर्ट्स, ब्रुसेल्स, बेल्जियम येथे २०२६ ह्या वर्षातील एक महिन्यासाठी अभ्यागत / अतिथी कलाकार म्हणून सहयोग देण्यासाठी निमंत्रित करण्यात आले आहे.
Ketan Sathaye is a contemporary Indian artist currently working between Paris (France) and Pune (India). He completed his Diploma in Fine Arts from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 2013. In 2018, he strengthened his artistic dialogue in Paris by completing the French Language B1 Level at Alliance Française de Pune. He later pursued studies in Art History at the Catholic University of Paris in 2020 and participated in the Herodotus Programme at École des Beaux-Arts, Paris, in 2023. He is presently associated with Atelier Contrepoint (17) in Paris. Between 2023 and 2025, his works were exhibited across four galleries in Paris. His artistic practice reflects a nuanced exploration of personal experiences, memories, and form. Rooted in the Indian aesthetic tradition, his approach interweaves a deep sensitivity to color with a philosophical understanding of life, while remaining universal and experimental in nature. He is invited as a guest artist to work for a month at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels, Belgium in 2026.
