Aanand Chabukswar is an Applied Theatre Practitioner working in theatre facilitation and its application in self-development, education, and therapy for almost 30 years across diverse groups and institutions in India and outside. He is also the founder of the Applied Theatre School. His writings have appeared in Routledge publications, including the International Handbook of Dramatherapy. His recent book, ‘Creative Rites of the Recovering Mind’ is based on his decade-long dramatherapy engagement with persons living with mental illness. His current production in theatre is ‘Parting With Words’ based on world poetry related to the theme of death.
