Ajay Sharma is a visual artist based in Baroda, Gujarat. Recipient of Lalit Kala Akademi scholarships, Ajay has exhibited his works in several solo and group exhibitions across India.
Akshat Jain is a writer residing in Delhi at the moment. His work has been published in The First Line Literary Magazine and various online journals including Out of Print, Indian Review, Indian Ruminations, Aaina Nagar, Bengal Lights, Ashwamegh and Cecile’s Writers Magazine. He also has a novel to his name, called A Madman’s Diary.
Anuj Deshpande is a writer and translator and is actively engaged in theatre activities in Pune.
Ashish Kushwaha is a visual artist based in Mumbai. After studying painting from IKSVV, Khairagad, Chhattisgarh, Ashish has held several solo exhibitions and has participated in group exhibitions and residencies across India.
Ashlesha Gore is a published Marathi translator based in Pune. She loves to translate works of fiction. She is also interested in languages, reading and theatre. Her four translated books have been published by Vishwakarma, Manjul, Westland and Yatra publications. She graduated from Cummins College of Engineering for Women with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications.
Heramb Sukhathankar is an Instructional Designer-turned-Linguistics student. Apart from dabbling in diverse interests, he is usually found in search of plants, words, and music. The Last Nomad, his debut novella, was released at the Jaipur Art Summit 2019.
Manasi Kulkarni is a content specialist involved in content creation and publication for a diverse range of platforms.
Niranjan Pedanekar is a scientist by profession. He writes, translates poetry, and is actively engaged in theatre.
Noopur Desai is an art writer and researcher writing in Marathi and English. She works at the Asia Art Archive in India and is based in New Delhi.
Omkar Govardhan is a theatre and film actor. He has translated The Art of the Stage written by seminal Russian theatre-director and actor Konstantin Stanislavski (1863-1938) into Marathi. The Marathi translation has been published by Rajhans Prakashan, Mumbai.
Pitambar Naik is an award-winning poet and writer from India and the author of The Anatomy of Solitude, a book of poetry (Hawakal Publishers). His work is forthcoming in Queer Poetry of South Asia: Harper Collins India.
Prajna Desai is an art historian and writer of fiction. Her research and scholarship about visual politics, print culture, and built form develops at the intersection of history, literature, and science. She has held teaching positions and fellowships at the University of Southern California (LA), Stern College for Women (NYC), Delfina Foundation (London), The Museum of Modern Art (NYC), and The School of Visual Arts (NYC). She lives and works between Mumbai and New York.
Priyanka D’Souza is a visual artist and writer currently based in Delhi, pursuing her MA in Arts and Aesthetics at JNU. She has been a fellow at the Dara Shikoh Fellowship ’16 and has exhibited her work across India.
Purvi Rajpuria is a third year student of Literary and Cultural Studies at FLAME University, Pune.
Ramu Ramanathan is an editor, playwright and director. He has several plays to his credit including Cotton 56, Polyester 84, Jazz, Comrade Kumbhakarna, and Postcards From Bardoli.
Ravindra Damodar Lakhe is a poet, theatre-director and editor of erstwhile little magazines in 1960s and 70s. He has published two collections of poems. Lakhe is also the recipient of a number of awards for his writing including Kavayitri Indira Sant Purskar.
Ruma Choudhury is a visual artist living in between Kolkata and Santiniketan. She completed her BFA and MFA from Kala Bhavan, Vishwa Bharati University, Santiniketan.
Satya Gummuluri is an artist originally from Bombay, and is currently based in Munich, Germany. She works with text, sound, music and image, as well as editorial work and translation. She has performed and recorded with jazz and improvised music groups in the US, Europe and India, and has released an album of her music entitled Seven Blue Seas.
Sonali Laha is a visual artist based in Hyderabad. She completed her MFA in Painting from S. N. School, Central University of Hyderabad in 2012. She was awarded Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi’s emerging artist award in 2012 and Ministry of Culture’s junior fellowship in 2019.
Sopan Khude is a scholar in tamasha, a folk performance tradition of Maharashtra. He has written screenplays and dialogues for two Marathi films. Also, Khude has written 25 radio plays for the Akashvani Pune.
Soumyadeep Roy has studied Literature and Film. He is an independent visual artist and writer.
Suchana Seth is a physicist-turned-data-scientist, a compulsive reader, a slow traveler, and a photographer of empty chairs. By day, she prevents data dystopias. At night, she writes speculative fiction and poetry. Her stories and poems have appeared in Antimatter, Every Day Fiction, Litro, Subaltern Word and Hakara.
Sudhir Patwardhan is a visual artist based in Mumbai. His works are predominantly figurative with a focus on urban reality. Currently, Patwardhan’s retrospective exhibition is being held at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai.
Tanvi Deshmukh recently earned a Master’s degree in English Literature from Manipal University and is currently working as a freelance-editor with Notion Press Publishing. Her academic interests include gender studies, film theory and visual culture.
Vikki Nanda is a Junior Research Fellow at the Department of English, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. His research interest comprises of Film-Studies, Literary Theory, Modernism and Western Philosophy. He is currently doing his PhD on the relation between Film-Philosophy and Translation Studies.
